Here’s what I’m reading this summer…
I decided I only want to read books that “spark joy” for me over the summer, so I chose books that I was excited about but hadn’t gotten to read yet, as well as some books I’ve read before and am excited to read again. (This is why there are quite a few memoirs, biographies, and autobiographies on the list - they’re my favorite.)
So here’s my summer reading list, in no particular order. It’s not very long right now, but I may add to it or tweak it as I go.
Forgotten God - Francis Chan
Surprised by Hope - N.T. Wright
Trusting God - Jerry Bridges
As You Wish - Cary Elwes
Dorie, the Girl Nobody Loved - Doris Van Stone and Erwin Lutzer
Evidence Not Seen - Darlene Deibler Rose
French Women Don’t Get Fat - Mireille Guiliano
French Women for All Seasons - Mireille Guiliano
Lena - Margaret Jensen
Violets for Mr. B - Margaret Jensen
The Hiding Place - Corrie ten Boom
Hudson Taylor’s Spiritual Secret - Howard and Geraldine Taylor
What are you reading this summer???
